Search for "DrukMates" in the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). The app is free to download. Once installed, tap "Sign Up" to create your account.

Open DrukMates and tap "Sign Up". You'll need to:

• Enter your full name, email address, and a secure password
• Choose your country (Canada or Australia)
• Select your province/state and city
• Confirm your email address (a confirmation link will be sent)

You can also sign up with Google or Facebook for faster registration.

Check your spam or junk mail folder first. If it's not there, wait a few minutes and check again — delivery can sometimes take 2–3 minutes. If you still haven't received it after 10 minutes, try signing up again or contact our support team at 1527639@hustlersbae.info.

DrukMates is primarily a mobile app, available on iOS and Android. We do not currently have a dedicated web version, though the app's web interface may be available through a browser in limited form.

DrukMates is currently available for the Bhutanese diaspora in Canada and Australia. Content, local events, immigration updates, and community feeds are filtered by your selected location (country, province/state, and city) so you always see content relevant to you. We plan to expand to other countries in the future.

Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap "Edit Profile". You can update your name, bio, profile photo, and location (country, province/state, and city). Tap Save when done.

On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password?" and enter your email address. You'll receive a password reset link. The link expires after 1 hour — if it expires, request a new one from the login screen.

Go to Profile → Edit Profile. Use the cascading pickers to select your Country → Province/State → City. Your feed, events, job listings, and housing will automatically update to show content for your new location.

Go to Profile → Settings → scroll to the bottom → "Delete Account". You'll be asked to confirm. Account deletion permanently removes all your data, including posts, messages, and your profile. This cannot be undone. If you're having trouble with the app, consider contacting support before deleting.

No. Each person may only have one DrukMates account. Multiple accounts are a violation of our Terms of Use and may result in all accounts being suspended.

Your feed shows posts from members in your selected location. If your location is not set correctly, go to Profile → Edit Profile and update your country, province/state, and city. You can also use the city filter at the top of your feed to browse content from other cities.

On the Feed tab, tap the "+" or compose button. Write your message, add a caption if desired, and optionally attach up to 4 photos or videos. Tap Post when ready. Your post will appear in the feeds of community members in your location.

Tap on any user's profile photo or name to view their public profile. Tap "Add Friend" to follow them. When they follow you back, you'll both see each other's posts more prominently. You'll receive a notification when someone follows you.

Weekly Reflections are AI-generated summaries of your week in the DrukMates community — highlights, connections, posts you may have missed, and warm encouragement. You can generate a reflection from Profile → Reflection. Reflections are user-triggered (never automatic) and are generated by Claude AI. Results are cached for 7 days.

Open the post, tap the ··· menu in the top-right corner, and select "Delete Post". You'll be asked to confirm. Only your own posts can be deleted. After deletion you'll return to the feed.

You can list and browse: Electronics, Clothing, Food products, Furniture, Vehicles, Rental properties, Services (hourly or fixed price), Online courses, and miscellaneous items. All listings must comply with our community guidelines and applicable laws.

Yes. Marketplace selling requires a DrukMates Pro subscription ($6.99/month). A 14-day free trial is available with no credit card required. Browsing and buying from the marketplace is free for all users.

When creating a new listing, select "Services" as the category. A toggle will appear below the price field: "Fixed Price" vs "Per Hour". Select "Per Hour" and enter your hourly rate. The listing will show "Rate: Per Hour" to buyers.

Customer reviews are currently available for food category listings only. We plan to expand reviews to other categories in the future.

DrukMates is a platform that connects buyers and sellers, but is not a party to any transaction. Always exercise caution when transacting with strangers. We recommend: meeting in public places, inspecting items before payment, and using traceable payment methods. Report any fraudulent listings using the flag button on the listing.

Go to the Jobs tab and tap "Post a Job". Fill in the job title, company, type (full-time, part-time, contract, etc.), location, salary, and description. Tap Post to publish. Job posts are visible to community members in your area.

Yes. On the Events tab, use the scope toggle to filter events by "My City", "My Province/State", or "All". Online events are always shown regardless of scope. The filter works on both in-person and online events.

Open any event listing and tap "RSVP" or "Attend". Your RSVP is confirmed immediately. To cancel, open the same event and tap "Cancel RSVP". The event organizer can see the list of attendees.

Event creation is currently available to all users during our testing period. A subscription requirement may be re-enabled before the full production launch.

Visit any user's profile and tap "Message". A direct message conversation will be created or opened if one already exists. You can also access all your conversations from the Messages tab.

Yes. Direct messages are private and only visible to you and the recipient. DrukMates staff may access messages in response to safety reports or legal requirements as described in our Privacy Policy.

No. When you block a user, they cannot send you messages. This is enforced both in the app and at the database level. See the Privacy & Safety section for how to block users.

DrukMates uses real-time technology (Supabase Realtime) to push new messages to your device instantly. No manual refresh is needed. This also applies to notifications.

Yes! Both Plus and Pro plans include a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. At the end of the trial, you'll be prompted to subscribe or the plan will revert to Free.

Cancel through your device's App Store (iPhone: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions) or Google Play Store (Play Store → Profile → Payments → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then.

Refund requests are handled by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play. DrukMates does not process refunds directly. Contact Apple Support or Google Play Support and reference the purchase. In exceptional circumstances, contact us at 1527639@hustlersbae.info.

Each post has a flag icon in the footer. Tap it and select a reason. Our admin team reviews reports and takes action. On a user's profile or post, tap the ··· menu to access Report Post, Report User, or Block options.

Visit the user's profile or open one of their posts and tap ···. Select "Block [username]". Blocked users cannot see your posts, message you, or interact with your content. You can manage your blocked list in Settings → Blocked Member Management.

Go to Profile → Settings → Blocked Member Management. You'll see a list of all blocked users. Tap "Unblock" next to the person you want to unblock. They will immediately be able to see your content and message you again.

DrukMates stores your selected city, province/state, and country in your profile. This is used to filter your feed and is visible on your public profile. We do not track your real-time GPS location unless you use the Delivery Tracking feature, which requires explicit permission. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Go to Profile → Settings. You can toggle push notifications for likes, comments, messages, events, and more. You can also manage notification permissions in your device's Settings app under Notifications → DrukMates.
